DD Rapids

Today, in days, marks the end of a season, a quarter axis shift, a long time since the day I left Morelia, never to be the same again.
I hope my VERY absent absence hasn't driven you to finding meaning in my silence.
Returning to Berlin was somehow less rigorously prepared for than my trip to Morelia. I had, for example, forgotten that I would be returning on one of the shortest days (hours of daylight) of the year. I had also underestimated how 'addicting' using a computer so intensely for five weeks can be to one's staying in touch and one's productivity.
Then, there was winter, Christmas and New Year´s: a blinding whiff between jet-lag, darkness-blues and simple exhaustion. Like magic, on jan 2nd, I "was back". the computer which had worked perfectly in Morelia (knock on wood) but died as my plane landed only to be returned on dec. 30th. "was back". Too.
We had -14 degrees Celius with non-stop powdery snow in January. IT WAS WONDERFUL! The 'real' winter woke me up and things have been rolling up hill, since then.
BUT! Let me stop because the only reason I'm writing, THE ONLY ONE is to say Thank You.
I could not have dreamed that dream any better than Morelia/CMMAS. Every second was like an endorphin pump: music, creation, time, facility, joys, art, kindness, pleasures, elations, contentment, excitement, challenge, relaxation, healing, respect, friendship, family, weather, trees, flowers, sky, food, stars, beauty . . . . . . something very close to paradise, close.
It has taken me this long, from winter to spring, to find a way to understand the feelings which say this, and only this, THANK YOU.
I can repeat these words a thousand times without doing them justice, remembering that I have travelled much, but Morelia/CMMAS changed my life.
