I want to extend a warm and big thank you for your incredible hospitality at CMMAS these last few days. As I looked deeper into your website I saw that many of my colleagues have been here, especially old and new friends from the US.
This was a chance to launch a concert program that I have been assembling but have not played in this form. Thus, it was kind of a premiere and CMMAS was the perfect place to do such a thing.
When I was a young musician, there were few artist-in-residency opportunities and these were more for writers and composers. Now that the electronic composer-performer has emerged, I appreciate your ambition and success at making CMMAS a happening place on the earth!
